Saved my receipt so I could remember who to write a review about! Alexa was so sweet and very patient with my friends and I since we had some food sensitivities/allergies we had to manage. She was very knowledgeable and friendly! Side note: the drinks were great, came out quickly, and the little foods were good too! We were big fans of the Buffalo chicken empanadas.

I have been here before but never reviews it and I dont even know why because everything is so good! Walked in and the staff greated me instantly! They also waited while I looked at their giant menu to figure out what I want. And not giant in a bad way, giant in a many options way. I had questions and the woman who took my order was so kind to me and patient when I had questions. I also put my phone number and got a discount so definitely sign up for their rewards program! There was plenty of seating inside and outside so we grabbed a booth and made myself comfortable until my order was ready. The inside was decorated very cute with lights We ordered a Thai and Taro blended milk tea, a Tiger Tea with boba, an order of Cheese Curds and the Brick Toast with Honey Butter. The Thai and Taro blended milk tea was so good! It had such a balanced flavor! The Tiger tea with Boba was very earthy and subtle flavor but still so good! The Cheese Curds were freshly battered with a golden fry on it that really showed how clean their oil is! And the Brick Toast with Honey Butter was such a soft bouncy bread that would pair beautifully with a morning coffee. Over all the entire menu is something I want to keep exploring and I definitely recommend SD Boba Tea!

My go-to boba place- SD Boba Tea in National City. I live closer to the Tj border. So, unless I am in no dire need for a boba fix, I would rather make the 8 mile drive to SD Boba Tea. Yes, hands down. I have gone here for meet ups with my friends, taken family here many a times, have purchased gift cards, done boba run for co-workers, or just sat around for a moment just because I was plain thirsty. SD Boba is not a very large place, may not have anywhere to sit and wait, so just be patient. Waiting in your car is ok too. You will get a text message when your order is ready for pick up. Staff at register are always friendly and acknowledges customers that walks into the shop. Good customer service. I like their system as it’s easy and efficient … you go to register and order, pay for order, wait for order, when your names up, you pick up your order on the other side of counter. If you’re dining in, same routine, just need to find your seating area. Of course, if you’re new and need more time to check the large selection of drinks and food that’s posted on monitors, it’s best you allow the next person behind move forward and order. Especially, if there’s a long line out the door, which happens often than none. SD Boba Tea drinks taste fresh and delicious and boba portioning is generous. I’ve been to other places in southern San Diego where boba was skimped and drinks were watered down. I have tried their chicken wings and crepes before. Also good. But it’s also taro slush with boba for me 100%. Oh, and they have a rewards program. Try it The owners are friendly. You will sometimes see them working at the register, passing out orders or in the kitchen working. Highly recommend

One of the OG spots for boba in National City. They have a ton of milktea flavors, snacks and deserts to include some mochi ice cream for the summer heat.

Always a great experience. The staff is kind. They have so many options to choose from & their drinks are customizable in the sense that you can choose sweetness level, ice level, boba, and flavors. Service is fast and every Boba tea I’ve had has been great.

I actually was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed my time here and the drink I got, I would get again. The sweetness was right there, and as a cyclist it is something I appreciate but wouldn't do or recommend each day. Lots of calories.

Best boba shop in SD. They blend the drinks perfectly. No ice chunks. Fruity Pebbles, Ferrero Rocher, and Vanilla Snow are my favorites. They also have baby boba. GOATED boba shop
